About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build new pipeline and drive revenue within assigned territory
  • Understand customer business challenges and position Hex as the solution
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery, demos, POCs, and technical reviews
  • Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals
  • Provide feedback to engineering, product management, and marketing teams
  • Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts

Requirements

  • Proven track record selling technical software in data, DS/ML, or analytics space
  • Ability to teach complex technical concepts
  • Understanding of challenges faced by data practitioners
  • Experience managing large, complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn basic SQL
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Located in SF, NYC, or Boston metro areas
