About the role
Responsibilities
- Build new pipeline and drive revenue within assigned territory
- Understand customer business challenges and position Hex as the solution
- Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery, demos, POCs, and technical reviews
- Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals
- Provide feedback to engineering, product management, and marketing teams
- Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts
Requirements
- Proven track record selling technical software in data, DS/ML, or analytics space
- Ability to teach complex technical concepts
- Understanding of challenges faced by data practitioners
- Experience managing large, complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Willingness to learn basic SQL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Located in SF, NYC, or Boston metro areas
