About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth within a greenfield territory from lead generation to closing
- Develop tailored account plans for assigned accounts to identify decision-makers and revenue opportunities
- Communicate Gong's value proposition to potential customers
- Refine and optimize messaging to scale outbound prospecting efforts
- Engage and educate senior executives on the Revenue Intelligence industry
- Partner with SDR, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams to develop account-based strategies
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably selling complex SaaS to Enterprise clients
- Track record of overachieving revenue targets of $1M+
- Experience closing six-figure deals in complex sales cycles
- Experience selling to C-Suite and CROs within enterprise organizations (1,000+ employees)
- Hunter mentality with success in securing new logos
- Proficiency in MEDDPICC or similar value-based selling methodologies
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
