About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a healthy book of business by closing net-new customers and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Uncover ideal clients through self-prospecting and collaboration with the SDR team
  • Consult with new clients to understand complex supply chain needs and create value-add solutions
  • Navigate and sell Flexport's suite of products across the entire shipment lifecycle
  • Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Meetings to help clients plan for upcoming business
  • Partner with internal Operations, Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Customs teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
  • Lead the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries
  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle (prospecting to closing), quota-carrying sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to execute a structured sales process
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven success in building and maintaining long-term commercial relationships

  • Competitive and creative drive to win over customers and solve complex problems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a desire to grow into a top-tier sales executive
