About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a healthy book of business by closing net-new customers and cross-selling to existing clients
- Uncover ideal clients through self-prospecting and collaboration with the SDR team
- Consult with new clients to understand complex supply chain needs and create value-add solutions
- Navigate and sell Flexport's suite of products across the entire shipment lifecycle
- Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Meetings with existing clients to assist in strategic planning
- Partner with internal Operations, Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Customs teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
- Lead the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries
- 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle (prospecting to closing), quota-carrying sales role
- Demonstrated ability to execute a structured sales process
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills for virtual and face-to-face environments
- Proven success in building and maintaining long-term commercial relationships
- A competitive, creative drive and a naturally curious approach to client discovery
