About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategy for the Northeast region and named U.S. accounts
- Establish relationships with Director, VP, and C-suite level decision makers
- Achieve or exceed annual territory revenue goals through new customer acquisition and up-selling
- Identify new prospects and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline
- Build and maintain effective partner relationships with Microsoft and resellers
- Use Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator to manage prospect information and forecasts
- Lead the solution selling process in partnership with Systems Engineering
Requirements
- 7+ years of software sales experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets with senior-level influencers (CIO, CISO, VP-IT)
- Experience collaborating with internal groups including channel, demand gen, and customer success
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate complex enterprise deals and overcome customer objections
- Success working in fast-growth environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Understanding of the data management market, competitors, and industry trends
