About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for IT and service team buyers within mid-market accounts
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
  • Partner with existing AEs and CSMs to identify expansion opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to IT leaders including CIOs and VPs of IT
  • Translate customer pain points into compelling value narratives
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Engineering to refine positioning
  • Develop and execute territory plans targeting high-propensity accounts
  • Document learnings to contribute to playbook development for scaling the motion

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of sales experience
  • 3+ years selling to IT buyers in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of quota achievement and pipeline generation
  • Deep understanding of the IT persona and technology ecosystem
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Proficiency with sales methodologies such as Sandler, MEDDIC, or Challenger
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with service management methodologies like ITIL
  • Experience selling displacement deals or legacy software migrations
  • Understanding of AI-powered automation and employee experience platforms
  • Comfort with modern sales tech stacks including Salesforce and Outreach
