About the role
Responsibilities
- Recruit first-year, transfer, graduate, and non-traditional students through school visits and community engagement.
- Develop and execute recruitment plans for assigned territories, including college fairs, community colleges, and professional organizations.
- Evaluate admission applications and transcripts to provide academic scholarship recommendations.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the University and prospective students, providing information on enrollment policies and procedures.
- Support campus events such as tours, open houses, and orientations to assist with the student transition process.
- Deliver admissions-related presentations to small groups and prospective students.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on territory activity and applicant status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for one-on-one and group settings.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and handle confidential information in compliance with FERPA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Liberal Arts.
- Previous experience in admissions or recruitment-related roles.
- Proficiency with integrated administrative systems and modern software programs.
