Enrollment Counselor

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective students through in-person, telephone, email, and text message contact
• Interview and advise applicants to help them navigate admission processes and policies
• Review domestic and international applications for doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate programs
• Represent the University at recruitment activities both on-campus and within assigned territories
• Coordinate and plan regular recruiting activities, including virtual information sessions
• Build collaborative relationships with academic Program Directors and student success staff
• Maintain a strong understanding of academic programs, financial aid, and international requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
• Customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to work independently and prioritize competing needs in a busy environment
• Confidence in public speaking and presenting to diverse populations
• Ability to travel occasionally and lift up to 20 pounds of admissions materials

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in higher education admissions or sales
• Experience working with CRM technology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Industry connections in tech-oriented fields such as AI, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
