English Language Teacher (ESL)

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, dynamic, and engaging in-person ESL lessons to a 7-year-old student
• Develop customized curricula based on the learner's proficiency level and specific goals
• Focus on cultural adaptation and daily communication skills
• Monitor student progress and guide the learner toward specific language milestones
• Maintain professional and effective communication regarding student development

Requirements

• Native or near-native written and spoken English proficiency
• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Proven experience teaching children is required
• Ability to travel to the student's home in Naperville, IL (60564)
• Availability to teach weekdays after 4:30 p.m., two to three times per week
