English (ESL) Language Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, dynamic, and engaging in-person ESL lessons to children in a small group setting
• Develop customized curricula based on the learners' proficiency levels and specific social/academic goals
• Monitor student progress and guide learners toward achieving their language milestones
• Communicate effectively and professionally regarding student development and lesson outcomes
• Facilitate hands-on activities and movement-based learning to support engagement

Requirements

• Native or near-native written and spoken English proficiency
• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
• Proven experience teaching children is required
• Ability to provide in-person lessons in Clarksville, Tennessee

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Spanish-speaking students
• Experience teaching complete beginners
• Ability to work Monday through Thursday evenings
