English/Drama Teacher

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development and delivery of the English/Drama curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across all key stages
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely intervention and support as needed
• Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive educational experience
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Make a positive contribution to the school community through active engagement in extra-curricular programmes and community events

Requirements

• BEd or Bachelors degree in English/Drama
• PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching
• UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students, and parents
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching both inside and outside the classroom
