Engineer/Senior Engineer - ME

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions.
• Manage assembly processes including pressing, tightening, leak testing, and performance testing.
• Oversee new machine selection, fixture development, validation, and line prove-out.
• Solve perennial quality issues on ongoing assembly lines and improve process capability through MSA.
• Optimize line balancing, manpower, and MSD to enhance capacity and reduce bottlenecks.
• Implement productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics improvements.
• Design and implement material handling and internal logistics solutions.

Requirements

• 6 years of hands-on experience in assembly process planning engineering and new product development.
• Deep knowledge of assembly processes such as Tightening, Pressing, Leak testing, and Performance testing.
• Proficiency in reading fixture drawings and understanding GD&T.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic elements.
• Experience with Lean methodologies including SMED, MSD, and MSA.
• Familiarity with capacity enhancement, de-bottlenecking, and low-cost automation.
