Engineers - Roads & Highways

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and reports in accordance with ME standards
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables that meet internal and client quality expectations
• Support technical governance by adhering to approved processes and design protocols
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads to resolve design challenges
• Liaise with ME-based teams to ensure alignment of design outputs and project goals
• Follow WSP’s Business Management System and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards
• Support junior staff and share technical knowledge across the team

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in highway design, preferably within the ME region
• Proficiency in using Civil3D and ACC
• Knowledge of ME design standards and project delivery practices
• Willingness to travel to the ME region for short-term project support (2–3 month intervals)
• Strong technical understanding of highway engineering and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (e.g., ICE, CIHT)
