About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage deployments, upgrades, and support for Systems Engineering tools, including testing, data backups, compliance, and integrations
- Lead a team of Tool Specialists in the support and sustainment of engineering software
- Champion the deployment of integrated Systems Engineering solutions and consult with programs on implementation
- Identify, document, and champion best practices to increase efficiency in software deployment and support
- Partner with program engineers to plan and implement migrations from legacy applications to modern tools
- Engage strategic vendors for technology evaluations and improvements to address organizational needs
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years of relevant experience (or 5 years with an Advanced Degree)
- Experience in at least two areas: Architecture/Modeling, Math & Analysis, Modeling & Simulation, MBSE, or Advanced Analysis & Test
- Experience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methods
- Administrative experience with Windows and Linux environments
- Strong scripting and automation background with complex problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical leadership experience in program environments
- Detailed working knowledge of architecture tools such as Dassault Cameo/Teamwork Cloud, Syndeia, and Ansys Model Center
- In-depth understanding of data center and cloud-based hosting architectures
- Experience with Systems, Software, and IV&V Engineering Processes
- Expertise in Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP) and work instructions
