Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning, decommissioning, and operations for battery module prototypes
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems to resolve complex failures
• Conduct wiring and assembly of industrial control, power, and data acquisition circuitry
• Execute test plans to characterize battery system performance under engineering direction
• Support the first responder program to minimize energized downtime
• Maintain clear, comprehensive, and accurate logs of test data and system modifications
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe cell and module lab spaces

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a technician with high-powered equipment
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical issues in high-voltage systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
• Understanding of networking principles and PLC systems
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols
• High safety consciousness with training in high-voltage risk assessment
• Ability to wear heavy PPE including face shields and chemical suits
• Strong written communication skills and experience with Jira
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Experience with battery or solar systems
