Engineering Test Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and track requirements for the design, manufacturing, and evaluation of test equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on test equipment and provide technical support to test technicians.
• Coordinate with the Test Lead to establish and execute preventive maintenance plans and spare parts management.
• Propose and develop improvements to existing test processes and support the design of new test solutions.
• Lead or support product transfers and New Product Introduction (NPI) of test equipment to ensure compliance with yield targets and documentation.
• Contribute to the implementation of Reliability, Operations, and Efficiency (ROE) initiatives.

Requirements

• Fluent English proficiency in reading and writing.
• 0–2+ years of experience in manufacturing, testing, or engineering environments (internships and co-ops are considered).
• Hands-on familiarity with electronic test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, PXI systems, relays).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of test development tools and programming languages such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or C#.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
