Requirements
A.A. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience, Hands-on experience with facility/utility systems installation, operation, and maintenance, Experience with GUI control systems, Knowledge of LOTO processes, Ability to work from detailed drawings and blueprints, Medically qualified to wear respiratory and protective equipment, Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical requirements, US citizenship and eligibility for DOE Q-level clearance, Availability for 12-hour rotating shifts and emergency overtime

About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate facility support systems to enable shot operations, including process utilities, specialty air, vacuum, cooling, and pressurized gas systems
- Perform physical installation of typical and non-typical mechanical equipment per layouts and safety codes
- Maintain as-built configuration consistency with drawings and diagrams
- Plan and execute mechanical inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance, and installation projects
- Participate in quarterly outages for utility and facility maintenance
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain systems using test equipment and power tools
- Prepare logs and reports on facility and utility systems
- Adhere to ES&H regulations and Integrated Safety, Security, and Property Management responsibilities
Requirements
- A.A. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent related experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with facility/utility systems installation, operation, and maintenance
- Experience working with GUI control systems
- Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) processes
- Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and blueprints
- Medically qualified to wear respiratory and protective equipment
- Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical requirements including frequent twisting and pulling
- US citizenship and ability to obtain DOE Q-level clearance
- Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and emergency overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computing skills
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable electrical codes
