About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance strategies for electrical and rotating equipment.
- Lead equipment condition monitoring programs using vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis.
- Perform reliability and risk assessments on critical equipment to identify failure modes and define mitigation strategies.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA), FMEA, and Ishikawa studies to ensure the sustainability of corrective actions.
- Establish and report reliability KPIs, including MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Provide technical leadership during Management of Change (MOC) and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) processes.
- Ensure compliance with site management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and asset integrity standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in reliability, asset integrity, or maintenance within chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong working knowledge of failure analysis methodologies such as RCA and FMEA.
- Proficiency in SAP PM, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools like Power BI and Advanced Excel.
- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
- Ability to perform field inspections and move independently throughout industrial facilities, including stairs and elevated structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Level II certification in Infrared Thermography.
- Experience with vibration analysis, ultrasound inspection, and lubrication management.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, NFPA, and ISO 55000.
