About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform printed circuit board SMD rework to support new product development
- Create custom wiring harnesses and electro-mechanical prototype assemblies
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for validation and testing
- Conduct lab and field testing of electronic equipment and systems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB hand soldering with lead-free solder
- Experience with rework down to 0201 passives and 0.4mm pitch BGAs
- Proficiency with soldering stations, heat guns, and preheaters
- Ability to read electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs
- Experience working under a microscope
- Proficiency with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification
- Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of thermal interface materials, gaskets, and conformal coating
- Experience conducting IP rating testing
- Experience with thermal testing in temperature chambers
- Basic Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge
