Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and operations in development and application projects
• Assemble and break down automated machinery and prototype equipment
• Conduct tests on development projects and record relevant data
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment components
• Coordinate and communicate with external customers globally
• Utilize measurement tools, assembly tools, and fabrication methods like welding and plasma cutting
• Operate a forklift and travel domestically up to 10%

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Experience in development or technical support of industrial equipment is a plus
• Experience working directly with engineers in a technical support capacity
