Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post silicon validation of PCIe, SD, and USB memory products with host platforms from various OEM/Chipset vendors
• Conduct initial failure analysis to identify root causes, distinguishing between test/setup issues and product issues
• Execute validation plans to completion and convert test scenarios into actionable test cases
• Perform SOC bring-up, feature validation, and ASIC/storage drive debugging using in-house and third-party tracers, analyzers, and exercisers
• Implement or suggest automation ideas to improve bring-up and debug methodologies
• Manage hardware tracking, maintenance, and the purchase process

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 4+ years of related experience in engineering support or silicon validation
• Proven experience in silicon validation and failure analysis
• Technical knowledge of FPGA, simulators, and analyzers
• Familiarity with latest industry standards and compliance/interoperability procedures
