Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Tune and test filters and electronic components using network analyzers and computer programs
• Utilize specification sheets, drawings, and blueprints to outline filter capacity and function
• Adhere to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOP) and Automated Testing Procedures (ATP)
• Conduct quality assurance spot checks and tests to ensure product accuracy
• Use various tools including calipers, multimeters, microscopes, and soldering irons
• Measure tolerances and record job-specific data on forms, logs, and time sheets
• Clean finished products according to established procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Electronics training or repair experience (e.g., television repair)
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and bar graphs
• Strong mathematical proficiency with the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
• Manual dexterity for repetitive tuning processes and soldering

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional soldering experience or advanced soldering skills
