Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Produce prototype parts for engineering builds in collaboration with engineering and operators
• Investigate and develop multiple production method options, including internal and new processes
• Partner with outside vendors and project engineers for new equipment design and process validation
• Provide technical training assistance to shift operators and Set-up Technicians
• Perform quality checks and testing on parts during prototype and engineering build phases using measuring instruments
• Interpret quality standards, control plans, and technical documentation to ensure parts meet specifications
• Support corrective actions, cross-functional quality initiatives, and efforts to reduce downtime and scrap

Requirements

• Associate Degree in a technology-related field
• 5+ years of experience in various manufacturing processes
• Proven experience with new product launches
• Ability to interpret part drawings and understand part quality requirements
• Proficiency with computer systems
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
• Innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software
• Experience in automated and manual assembly, forging, stamping, machining, or injection molding
