Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and manufacturing functions by testing and troubleshooting electronic systems and modules through the NPI process
• Assist with the design and test of RF architectures, including test fixtures and racks/benches
• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of RF modules and assemblies
• Assist engineers with the development of test plans, procedures, and instructions
• Perform testing, collect data, and analyze results, including documentation of findings
• Support DVT and Qualification activities as required
• Build and troubleshoot prototypes as required
• Maintain and repair equipment and fixtures

Requirements

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident/green card holder)
• Associate’s degree in electronics with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a BSEET degree
• Experience with RF-based systems
• Experience with RF test equipment (e.g., Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators)
• Proficient soldering skills

Preferred Qualifications

• J-STD-001 certification
• Experience with NI LabVIEW
• Knowledge of military standards and specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, RTCA/DO-160)
• Experience supporting or calibrating RF test architectures
• Knowledge of prototyping equipment or Additive Manufacturing
