Engineering Technician Level 3

Responsibilities

• Modify and test high voltage printed circuit boards using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other lab equipment
• Run functional and qualification tests in the in-house motor dyne test lab using Drive Explorer and Connected Components Workbench (CCW)
• Provide cross-functional support and troubleshooting throughout the product development phase

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience soldering both SMT (down to 0402) and heavy copper through-hole components
• Proficiency in taking and understanding high voltage and current measurements using oscilloscopes and DMMs
• Experience using Drive Explorer, Connected Components Workbench (CCW), and SAP
• Legal authorization to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related technical experience
• Experience working safely with high voltage (>50V)
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits from schematics and assembly drawings
• Experience wiring and running variable frequency drives
• Experience performing component breakdown, thermal, short circuit, and EMC testing
• Experience working within a cross-functional scrum agile team
• Experience maintaining and organizing laboratory equipment
