Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and remedial maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, including Eddy Current Inspection Systems (ECIS)
• Diagnose and repair equipment errors and failures
• Conduct function tests and analysis on various systems and sub-systems
• Read and follow technical orders (TO) and established procedures
• Support national security missions through high-quality technical maintenance

Requirements

• AS degree in Engineering Technology or a related field, completion of a military technical training program, or a technical institute program
• 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Background in Electronics, Mechanical, Test, or Field engineering disciplines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in IT help desk support
• Soldering experience with IPC certification
