About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general care and maintenance of the Engineering Lab
- Assist in building and testing prototypes
- Operate and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical test equipment
- Document test processes and results
- Assist with the research, design, and construction of test equipment
- Coordinate research or test projects
- Perform failure analysis and document the results
Requirements
- Enrollment in a two-year or four-year technical program
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power technologies
- Ability to work on projects individually and meet deadlines
- Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate projects to completion
