Engineering Technician Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform general care and maintenance of the Engineering Lab
• Assist in building and testing prototypes
• Operate and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical test equipment
• Document test processes and results
• Assist with the research, design, and construction of test equipment
• Coordinate research or test projects
• Perform failure analysis and document the results

Requirements

• Enrollment in a two-year or four-year technical program
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power technologies
• Ability to work on projects individually and meet deadlines
• Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate projects to completion
