Engineering Technician III

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot test benches and hardware systems
• Support test execution, data collection, and system validation
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair cables, wiring harnesses, and electronic components
• Identify, isolate, and resolve faults in electrical, RF, and networked systems
• Ensure systems are configured to required baselines for testing and operations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Document work performed, configurations, and troubleshooting actions

Requirements

• 4–8 years of hands-on technical experience in engineering or lab environments
• Experience with test benches, system troubleshooting, or integration
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with cable fabrication and electronic assembly
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and network analyzers
• BS/BA degree required
• Active Secret security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD/Navy programs
• Familiarity with aircraft, communications, or shipboard systems
• IPC/WHMA-620 or J-STD soldering certifications
• Experience with RF systems, radios, or fiber optics
