Engineering Technician III

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and design staff with installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electronic/mechanical equipment
• Install, monitor, and service equipment at company and client sites
• Perform test and evaluation, check-out, and certification tasks for electronic systems
• Review Engineering Change Proposals and assist in creating Engineering Change Instructions
• Develop technical data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical drawings, and operating procedures
• Maintain filing systems, databases, and logs for project status and inventory tracking
• Act as the on-site customer interface for equipment installation and testing

Requirements

• 5 years of related experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid, current state driver's license
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (Interim Secret required to start)
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic cable knowledge including running, terminating, and testing video and ethernet cables
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware or software issues
