Engineering Technician II

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all test equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot test equipment challenges and hardware issues
• Perform calibration and testing of instrument measurement test equipment
• Maintain detailed documentation for maintenance, calibration, and repairs to ensure compliance
• Provide technical support and guidance to Engineering and Manufacturing teams
• Support proactive maintenance and upgrades for test equipment obsolescence
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tester efficiency
• Manage spare test equipment inventory through repairs and strategic purchases

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering field
• 2-3 years of experience in test equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical or electronic test systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to perform independent failure analysis on hardware issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and tools as required
• Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime based on production demand

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC certifications
• CompTIA A+ certification
