Engineering Technician II

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in creating, modifying, and testing products and processes
• Perform extensive research and development during the product creation phase
• Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement
• Conduct tests and collect data
• Utilize computer-aided design and drafting equipment
• Manage equipment setup, maintenance, and calibration
• Follow safety procedures for equipment operation and material handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked laboratory

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude (gears, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics)
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills for data analysis and documentation
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school or skilled trades program completion
• CNC operating or programming experience
