Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in product design, development, and production
• Attend design reviews to ensure support for new product testing
• Prepare API reports and review test reports for customer testing
• Take a lead role in assigned projects, including expediting prototype parts and coordinating with vendors
• Perform extensive research and development during the product creation phase
• Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement
• Set up and conduct high-pressure testing
• Conduct applied research, studies, and analyses
• Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and company health and safety expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience
• 3-5 years of experience in product manufacturing, performance/quality evaluation, or lab testing
• Technical background and working knowledge of tool and machine design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and the ability to read blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with “API 19B Recommended Practices for Evaluation of Well Perforators”
