Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance, reliability, and safety testing on refrigerators and compressors
• Review test plans, modify test setups, and calibrate test environment equipment and software
• Interpret test standards to ensure stability and produce summary reports per ISO 17025 protocols
• Perform airflow and UL testing
• Move engineering samples between test, preparation, and storage areas

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a laboratory testing environment
• 2-year technical degree or military equivalent
• Universal refrigerant certification
• Physical ability to move and manage large appliances (refrigerators, icemakers, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting appliances, test stations, or complex laboratory equipment
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong communication skills
