Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate pyrolyzers and component test rigs to increase understanding and reliability
• Improve Standard Operating Procedures through written feedback and suggestions
• Provide insight for troubleshooting design and operational challenges
• Perform routine repairs on pyrolyzers and associated equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean test area and observe all safety instructions
• Use machinery and powered equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and scissor lifts
• Record machine performance data for Operations and Engineering Development teams
• Document work in Confluence, JIRA, and Google Product Suite

Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience with machinery or heavy equipment
• Practical experience assembling and disassembling complex mechanical systems
• Ability to work autonomously and troubleshoot on the job
• Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, or scissor lifts
• Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, crawl in awkward spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating high temperature or high pressure systems
• Familiarity with chemical processing systems and terminology
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting
• Basic to advanced fabrication skills
