Responsibilities

• Perform testing and characterization of graphene photonics devices, including modulators, photodetectors, and integrated circuits
• Execute electrical, optical, and optoelectronic measurements to validate device performance
• Support testing of PIC, EIC, and EPIC devices using advanced characterization equipment
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Collect, analyze, and document characterization data and maintain reliability databases
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of automated measurement solutions and test procedures
• Support Design-for-Test (DFT) validation and supplier qualification activities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, and laboratory records

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field, or completed vocational training
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor, photonic, or optoelectronic device testing
• Experience working in a laboratory, cleanroom, or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with semiconductor and photonic characterization equipment and advanced test instrumentation
• Experience with automated test routines using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools
• Knowledge of measurement uncertainty, calibration procedures, and quality control practices
• Understanding of cleanroom protocols, contamination control, ESD guidelines, and optical safety
