Engineering Technician 4

Responsibilities

• Support engineering testing of electronic modules using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) manually or with automated handlers
• Execute equipment setup, data collection, and setup tear-down
• Perform minor troubleshooting of test setups using diagnostic equipment such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
• Validate product performance and ensure products meet defined specifications through accurate test execution and documentation
• Work the night shift schedule: Sunday night to Friday morning (12:00 AM to 8:30 AM)

Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with bench test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and power supplies
• Proficiency with MS-Office, Windows OS, and Linux OS
• Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and data related to voltage, current, and power
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ATE, Cohu PAx-RF, or Advantest V93000-RF
• Knowledge and experience with turret and pick-and-place handlers
