Engineering Technician 3

Responsibilities

• Support daily semiconductor test operations, including the setup and docking/undocking of ATE to probers and handlers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot handlers, test stations, and hardware such as ATE boards, sockets, and probe cards.
• Perform device-level testing using ATE and various semiconductor test equipment.
• Gather engineering data using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and multi-meters.
• Provide maintenance support for handler and test equipment, including preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain equipment calibration and PM records to ensure compliance with ISO-9001 audits.
• Support occasional off-shift or weekend activities as required.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma.
• 2-3 years of experience testing semiconductors on ATE setups.
• Familiarity with ATE test platforms such as Advantest and Cohu.
• Experience with wafer probers and the ability to prepare and run wafer sort setups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Advantest 93K or Cohu Diamond platforms.
• Familiarity with TEL probers.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
