HqO is connecting real estate to the people with an asset agnostic, cross-property suite of powerful applications and services that foster best-in-class, dynamic end-user experiences. HqO’s REX (Real Estate Experience) Platform assesses the health and performance of a person’s experience within a physical space while providing the necessary tools for operators to manage and optimize it.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and APIs that power HqO software
• Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced agile environment
• Write high-quality code with a focus on application performance
• Develop, maintain, and create testing strategies for APIs written in NodeJS and hosted in AWS
• Work with product management to translate requirements into user stories
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve issues on a quick timeline
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a small team of engineers

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related area of study
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in full stack or backend development
• Experience with SaaS companies creating web services at scale
• Mastery of modern JS frameworks like NodeJS and Nest
• Expertise in relational databases and managing schema migrations
• Significant experience with AWS or relevant cloud technologies
• Experience in client-side JS frameworks like React and Redux
• Strong collaborative skills and transparency regarding task progress

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in managing a small team of engineers
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
