Engineering Tech II

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering projects, guest calls, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical components, appliances, and household fixtures
• Conduct basic HVAC diagnostics and preventive maintenance
• Repair interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, tiling, and flooring
• Maintain pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and cleaning
• Utilize resort software and devices such as HotSOS to manage work orders
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding while following all safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues to resolve needs effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment
• Valid driver's license
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license
• Ability to regularly lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
