Engineering Tech Advisor III

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical specialist providing authoritative decisions and recommendations for extensive engineering activities and program areas.
• Negotiate critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.
• Perform advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority in specialized areas to contribute to value creation.
• Monitor construction activities to identify any errant items that may affect cost or schedule.
• Report progress, hurdles, and roadblocks to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Prioritize and execute responsibilities for specific trades, task groups, or functional areas with limited guidance.
• Resolve technical problems and recognize deviations from accepted practices.
• Assist with the orientation and training of employees in moderately complex to complex areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of directly related engineering experience.
• Advanced certifications or professional licensures.
• Recognized technical expertise in your specific field and related functions.
• Ability to perform complex technical service and support duties requiring specialized knowledge.
