Engineering Team Lead

Partly's mission is to connect the world's parts by building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts. Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, we provide a scalable digital infrastructure solution to some of the world's largest businesses and the most exciting startups.

Responsibilities

• Work on mission-critical systems for our core SaaS and API platform
• Ensure features are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and accurate
• Provide a great experience for businesses using the Partly platform
• Develop and share software engineering best practices with the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing complex applications
• Strong grounding in computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, architecture, APIs, testing, design patterns)
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data models
• Experience building reliable, distributed systems
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive parts
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with Rust
