Engineering Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensure the plant is maintained within Health, Safety, and Environmental constraints
• Report and communicate incidents via the Eco Online System
• Lead team safety and maintenance meetings
• Produce work orders, risk assessments, and method statements for all activities
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory obligations are met during site operation
• Manage the day-to-day running of the shift and complete shift reports
• Perform effective diagnosis to ensure repairs are completed safely and economically
• Manage shift manning to cover sickness and holidays
• Maintain workshop, tooling, and LOLER equipment according to regulatory requirements
• Support the achievement of maintenance KPI targets
• Assist in the development of comprehensive plant maintenance procedures
• Undertake training and monitoring of personal development for the team

Requirements

• Experience in engineering leadership or team management
• Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures
• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days 6am-6pm or Nights 6pm-6am)
• Understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Ability to work both personally and in liaison with external contractors
