Engineering Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer server-side configuration of Autodesk Vault Professional, including lifecycle definitions, revision schemes, and user permissions
• Own CAD data governance, including version control, naming conventions, and maintaining company-wide standards and libraries
• Manage formal engineering release flows and ECN/ECO workflows to ensure data integrity from concept to production
• Facilitate ERP integration by ensuring product structures and BOMs from Vault accurately reflect in the Odoo ERP system
• Administer RapidHarness for the electrical team and integrate wire-harness design data into the central BOM and release flow
• Provide day-to-day technical support to the design engineering team regarding PDM/CAD workflows and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• 2+ years of experience administering or supporting a PDM/PLM system (e.g., Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks PDM, Windchill)
• Experience working with product structures, BOMs, and formal engineering change processes (ECN/ECO)
• Proficiency with server and client deployment and user/permission management
• U.S. Person status required (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience with Autodesk Vault Professional and Inventor
• Experience integrating CAD/PDM data with ERP systems, specifically Odoo
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration, SQL Server, and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Vault API)
• Experience with electrical wire-harness design tools like RapidHarness
• Background in manufacturing, Rail, Electric Vehicle (EV), or Unmanned Systems industries
