Engineering Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist during sea trials and field operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution
• Carry out pre-deployment checks and logistical preparations before trials and field sessions
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance on vehicles to uphold reliability and safety
• Operate and pilot vehicles during testing, transport, and demonstrations
• Support engineers with data collection, equipment setup, and test protocol execution
• Record observations, maintenance logs, and trial outcomes for engineering review

Requirements

• Comfortable working hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems
• Willing to step into unfamiliar technical domains and contribute across areas
• Proactively learns new systems, tools, and methodologies with minimal guidance
• Follows procedures rigorously and flags issues early in marine or high-stakes environments
• Communicates clearly with engineers and adapts quickly to shifting field priorities
• Stays calm and effective in dynamic offshore or variable-weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
