Engineering Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineering and technical trade personnel
• Support delivery against short range forecast and budget for Safety, Productivity and Cost
• Provide technical advice to optimize equipment availability and reliability
• Submit budget and schedule variations to management
• Ensure appropriate risk management and independent review processes
• Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards for all plant and equipment
• Control, manage and report maintenance KPIs
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of project scope and optimize opportunities

Requirements

• Leadership experience within an underground coal mine
• Electrical Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analysis, problem solving and attention to detail
• Demonstrated high level of commitment to safety
• Experience using Pronto (desirable)
• Advanced Excel skills
