About the role
Responsibilities
- Calculate temperature distributions and heat fluxes in space antennas and electronic equipment
- Recommend design modifications based on thermal analysis results
- Select appropriate thermal protections for space hardware
- Generate detailed analysis reports to demonstrate subsystem requirement compliance
- Develop thermal test procedures and related documentation
Requirements
- Currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum 90 credits completed prior to start)
- Minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0
- Strong sense of initiative and motivation
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) course
- Proficiency with Nx software
- Bilingualism (English and French)
