Engineering Student (Technical Support) for Contact Lens Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Gain insights into contact lens production and various engineering tasks within the manufacturing environment
• Assist with optimizations and problem-solving in both project-based work and daily operations
• Support the team with technical engineering projects, including the analysis and evaluation of measurement and process data
• Communicate with internal interfaces and take on responsibilities regarding automation and equipment optimization

Requirements

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Medical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a similar technical field
• Strong interest in automated production solutions, technical systems, and digitalization
• Understanding of technical documentation and test methodologies
• Organized, structured, and reliable approach to work with a high degree of responsibility
• Proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2)
• Very good MS Office skills and additional IT competencies
• Previous experience through industrial internships or vocational training is a plus
