Engineering Student - Mechanical Production and AI&T

Responsibilities

• Participate in AI&T planning and improvement activities for the industrialization of antenna and satellite products
• Analyze and review AI&T processes, including PFMEA and production cell key performance indicators
• Suggest and implement new technologies such as robotics, vision systems, and quality control tools
• Participate in the specification, design, installation, and deployment of new tooling
• Lead design for manufacturing (DFM) activities, including mockup design and fabrication
• Define and maintain manufacturing process specifications (MPS) and equipment operating procedures
• Support production teams during start-up and participate in program reviews (PDR, CDR, MRR)

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering (or equivalent)
• Completion of at least two years of university studies
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for metallic components and composite materials (machining, additive manufacturing, etc.)
• Fluency in both French and English (written and oral)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of satellite subsystems and electronics manufacturing/testing
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or VBA
• Experience or interest in composite materials manufacturing
