Engineering Student - Digital Electronics Test Station Design

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the product design team and senior Test Specialists to develop test architectures and methods for verifying flight equipment performance.
• Aid in the design of specialized PCB assemblies for custom test equipment.
• Work closely with product design teams and test technicians to review data and debug both test equipment and flight hardware.
• Produce technical drawings, reports, and other essential engineering documentation.
• Support the design, integration, and commissioning of specialized electronic test equipment for mixed-signal (Digital & RF) products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 completed engineering sessions in an undergraduate degree.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits and communication protocols.
• Practical experience with PCB design.
• Experience using laboratory instrumentation, specifically oscilloscopes.
• Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal).
• Ability to obtain and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced laboratory instrumentation such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, or arbitrary waveform generators.
• A multidisciplinary, proactive, and result-oriented approach to teamwork.
