Engineering Student - Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, commission, improve, and maintain automated equipment
• Integrate systems involving computer, mechanical, electronic, robotics, and computer vision technologies
• Assess the impact of automated systems on costs, maintenance, productivity, and work organization
• Analyze and validate existing processes while participating in the design and deployment of new solutions
• Develop satellite programs and databases to link ERP/MES systems with production using Industry 4.0 principles

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in automation, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or computer science
• Completion of at least two years of university studies
• Proven technical skills in SQL, Python, and VBA
• Knowledge of ERP and MES systems
• Ability to pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Experience in an aerospace or high-volume production environment
• Experience working with UR robots
